Non-woven bags classified by printing process

Oct 25, 2023

1. Silk-screen non-woven bag

Screen printing non-woven bags, that is, non-woven bags made by printing patterns through the screen printing process.

Screen printing non-woven bag printing steps:

1. Making screen plate; 2. Loading the plate (installing the screen plate on the screen printing equipment); 3. Environmentally friendly ink toning; 4. Printing debugging (only one or a small amount, debugging the position of the substrate); 5. Positioning ;6, batch printing production.

The limitations of screen printing non-woven bags

1. The color is single, and the transition color cannot be printed. 2. The difficulty coefficient of color registration is high in case of combined color; 3. The environmental protection ink used in the silk-screen non-woven bag is slower than the ink drying speed, and the printing speed is slower.

Screen printing non-woven bag advantages

1. The cost of plate making is low, it can be produced in small batches, and the cost of non-woven bags is low. 2. The screen printing non-woven bag has thick ink layer, strong coverage and more three-dimensional feeling.

2. Flexo non-woven bags

Flexo non-woven bags, that is, non-woven bags made by flexographic printing.

Flexo printing is flexographic printing, which is a direct printing method using raised and elastic graphic printing plates. The material used for the non-woven bag flexo printing plate is generally rubber sheet.

Flexo non-woven bag steps

1. Fix the rubber plate on the plate cylinder; 2. Pour the ink into the ink shell, and the ink is supplied by the metal engraved anilox roller; 3. Start the printing press, and transfer the ink from the anilox roller to the rubber plate. Transfer to non-woven fabric.

Original design requirements for flexo non-woven bags

1. It is better to use spot colors for pattern design lines and color blocks; 2. Too thin lines are difficult to achieve in flexo printing, and should be avoided in design; 3. Pattern design should avoid combination colors; 4. Design printing colors as close as possible to cloth colors Larger contrast; 5. The flexo printing ink is thin, and it is difficult for domestic flexo printing machines to print white and yellow.

Advantages and disadvantages of flexo non-woven bags

Advantages: 1. Flexo printing is flexible, economical, and very beneficial to environmental protection; 2. Flexo printing is faster than silk screen printing and has a lower cost;

Disadvantages: The flexo printing ink layer is thin and has poor coverage, suitable for printing heavy colors on light-colored non-woven fabrics. Domestic flexo printing machines generally cannot print white and yellow.

The development trend of flexo non-woven bags

Judging from the current situation in my country, silk-screen non-woven bags are relatively popular, and gravure color printing and thermal transfer printing have also occupied a large market, while flexographic printing technology started relatively late, although it has been true in recent years. Great progress has also been made, but there is still a big gap with the international advanced technology level.

3. Color printing non-woven bags

Color-printed non-woven bags are non-woven bags printed with color patterns. It has colorful and rich characteristics. Including: non-woven laminating bags and non-woven heat transfer bags.

Color printing non-woven bag printing process

Gravure

This process is divided into two steps, that is, the traditional gravure printing process is used to print the graphic on the film, and then the film with the pattern is laminated on the non-woven fabric by the lamination process. This process is generally used for non-woven bags printed with large-area color patterns. It is characterized by exquisite printing, machine production in the whole process, and short production cycle. In addition, the product has excellent waterproof performance, and the durability of the finished product is better than that of non-woven bags produced by other processes. The film is available in gloss and matt, and the matte has a matte effect! This product is stylish and generous, durable, full of color, and realistic in pattern. The disadvantage is that the price is slightly more expensive than the usual screen printing non-woven fabric.

heat transfer

Thermal transfer is a special type of printing in printing! This method requires an intermediate medium, that is, firstly print the graphic on the thermal transfer film or thermal transfer paper, and then transfer the pattern to the non-woven fabric by heating the transfer equipment. The medium commonly used in textile printing is thermal transfer film. Its advantages are: exquisite printing, rich layered version, comparable to photos. Suitable for small area color image printing. The disadvantage is that the printed pattern is easy to fall off over time, and it is expensive.

Four, heat transfer non-woven bag

The thermal transfer non-woven bag is a non-woven bag with thermal transfer as the printing process.

Thermal transfer printing is to print any pictures such as landscape paintings or character patterns on high-precision printing paper with thermal transfer ink, and then heat the pattern to a predetermined temperature through a heat transfer machine at high temperature and high pressure to accurately transfer the pattern to the surface of the non-woven fabric. A special process that transfers the image on the printing paper to the non-woven bag with realistic color.

Production process of heat transfer non-woven bag

1. Make pictures with higher resolution to be printed;

2. Print the pattern to be printed on the thermal transfer paper through the thermal transfer printer;

3. Use a heat press machine to print the pattern on the non-woven bag.

Features of heat transfer non-woven bag:

1. The pattern is exquisite and realistic, with rich layers, bright colors and good reproducibility, which can meet the requirements of the designer.

2. All kinds of patterns are formed at one time, no need to register.

3. High pattern coverage, strong adhesion, breathable, non-sticky, non-cracking, washable and not falling off.

4. Comply with green environmental protection printing standards, no environmental pollution.

The advantages and disadvantages of heat transfer non-woven bags

  advantage

1. The printing steps are simple. There is no need to make plates, copy plates, and repeat the steps of color registration;

2. It can accurately print high-precision pictures, with color transitions and realistic patterns.

  shortcoming

1. The technology is difficult, and the printing pressure and temperature are difficult to control.

2. Due to the need to use high-quality imported transfer paper and ink, the cost is high, and it is suitable for small-area color printing non-woven bags.
